Peljesac peninsula is positioned in the south of Croatia, in the immediate neighbourhood of Dubrovnik. Peljesac has made one administrative unit with Dubrovnik since the time of Dubrovnik Republic (Ragusa). By geographic and natural characteristics it's similar to Dalmatian islands in region - Hvar and Korcula, but the fact it's connected to mainland gives better travel possibilities, and better connection with Dubrovnik and interground. The peninsula has preserved is purity and natural Mediterranean beauty.
The air is fresh and unpolluted here, there are no factories and no traffic pollution. The water is clear and the sealife is bountiful, variety and richness of vegetation and animal life are characteristic for this area.There are little bays along the coast, white pebble beaches, olive orchards, centuries old cypress woods, white rocks and lavender fields.

Particularly gorgeous are sand and pebble beaches, the air fragrant with sea and herbs. The most beautiful beaches are Prapratno, Vucine, Vodice, Dingac, Postup, Mokalo, Mirce, Divna, Duba.The bay of Mali Ston is especially interesting, carved between the peninsula and the mainland, a preserved underwater life, the site of oyster and mussels, quality fish farming.There are beautiful sights of hills and fields, endless wineyards on the slopes of Dingac and Postup, where the production of the best Mediterranean red wines takes place. You can't miss breathtaking vistas where your eyes capture a unity of wonderous  wild colourful vegetation, sea and the sky.

 

Kuciste

Kuciste is a village and anchorage on Peljesac peninsula, about 6 km west of Orebic. Shady pebble beaches, clear sea, sailing, surfing, restaurant with native specialties and famous Peljesac wines are ideal for a pleasant vacation. Interesting places to visit are: Captain's houses right by the sea and stone boat moorings, Lazarevic baroque palace, Holy Trinity, St. Ann, St. Lawrence churches, cemetery and church of St. Luke from XIV. Century and so called ''vlake'' - small harbours made of stone. Above Kuciste there are a lots of hiking trails that lead to the old settlements Zukovac and Bilopolje.

 

 
 

Ston

Ston town is a small place on the Peljesac peninsula famous for its salt fields, 5 km long wall and excellent seafood. In 1333. Ston became a part of Dubrovnik Republic. The inhabitants of Dubrovnik built and fortified the town to defend Peljesac and to protect the salt fields, out of which they made a high profit. When the construction of the fortifications with 5.5 km long walls was finished in 1333, it was the longest fortification complex in Europe and the second largest in the world, after the famous Chinese wall. Ston is a rich treasury of cultural and historical monuments. Tourists are especially attracted by gastronomic specialties of the region, primarily oysters, mussels and other seafood that makes the Malo Stonski Bay famous. In other words, Ston town should be visited and enjoyed in every sense.

 

Zuljana

Zuljana is located in the south of the coast, on the peninsula of Peljesac. The village is presented in a golf, surrounded by hills going down abruptly into the sea, which explains the multiples coves. It is surrounded by famous vineyards and by plantations of olive-trees. It is also an interesting starting point for excursions. The 200 people of the village live mainly of tourism, agriculture, fishing and vine growing. They are very accessible; they speak about their tradition and their village, of course in Croatian, but the majority converse in English, and German or sometimes in French and in Czech.

   

Trstenik

Trstenik is small place on south side Peljesac peninsula with long sandy beach, restaurants, shops and well known Grgic winery. This very old place surrounded by vineyards and small beaches is perfect place for quite holiday. Trstenik is every day connected with Mljet which is national park. You can also do some excursions to Korcula, Ston, Dubrovnik, Medjugorje or make a Peljesac wine tour.

 

Potomje

Potomje is a settlement located on peninsula Peljesac in South Dalmatia, 2.5 km far from the coast. It is situated 15 km south-east of Orebic. Potomje is known for best Croatian wines (Dingac, Plavac, Postup). Potomje has around 250 inhabitants who are mostly directed to agriculture and viticulture.
